Bass Music Lessons - Wichita, KS 

Both 30 minute and 1 hour lessons are available.  Andy teaches students of all levels.  

Lessons are available from May through August, 2009.  

$20 for 30 minutes  or $40 for 1 hour.

My personal instructing mission is to work with aspiring bassists to get fundamental and advanced concepts of the instrumental techniques of Classical and Jazz double bass, in addition to the concept of electric bass as a dominant voice in the contemporary music world.  I tailor each lesson to the students needs and create a personable atmosphere that encourages musical growth and creativity.  Additionally, I teach each student Music Theory, Jazz Theory, Classical Arco (bow), Improvisation and extended instrument techniques such as: Slap bass, Tapping, Plectrum (with a pick), and the various forms of Harmonics.  I use method books, repertoire, lead sheets, scores, and most importantly... the ear to help each student become a great craftsmen on their instrument.
